Even Weeds have Flowers…

As I was picking weeds from my rose bush I thought how deceiving weeds can be. They had white flowers, but we’re  choking out my rose bush. Naturally I related it to my Christian journey lol 

Weeds are easy to pull up, but quick to grow back. Just like the things we should be repenting of. They’re pretty on the outside but keep digging and they’re killing what’s green and good. They can grow in any climate and are always looking for healthy plants to cling to. Willing vessels if you will. But, in Jesus when we have strong roots, these plants stand firm no matter what weeds are growing around or on them. They can handle the stripping and the renewing. We have to apply fertilizer and water to help keep the happy plants alive and away from the weeds in the next season.
