Getting Advice from the World vs Holy Spirit

Look, if its not from the Holy Spirit, I personally just dont want the earthly opinions on situations anymore. There’s no dept and its all based on our own feelings. Red flag #1
We’re fighting a spiritual battle. Not a battle against one another or strangers. So we can’t react to those situations like they’re what were going up against. Not your job, not the angry friend, not the house you’re wanting, not the sickness the doctors diagnosed you with. WE. HAVE. THE. WIN. OVER. WORLDLY. LOSSES.

When you have something important or urgent going on in your life, getting a friends opinion isn’t what is going to help the matter. Venting is only keeping your situation in a curse. Youre not “manifesting,” anything. You’re giving legal right to the enemy to control that circumstance. Period. The Bible says the power of life and death is in the tongue.

However, we’re not alone on this spiritual journey either. As friends and family, we’re here to help one another out! And we are able to do that from other Christians because we have the gift of prophecy, knowledge, wisdom, speaking in tongues and impartation! As brothers and sisters in Christ, it’s our job to exhort, edify (with love and not judgement), and to fight for each other, spiritually.

Accepting advice or news (even from Doctors, say whhhattttt) should be discerned. If it’s not Biblical or if the advice isnt aligned with the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22), then we should allow those words to go in one ear and out the other. It’s that serious.
The devil will work through those we love and trust the most, so we have to discern and KNOW what God says. How? Get in the Word and create a personal relationship. Prayer.

So be carful and be cautious of letting your friends vent about whats going on on a carnal basis, but instead speak the Truth God has given over the situation and pray TOGETHER. This is how we sharpen each other and let the devil know that yall’s lives arn’t his playground.
